Default Changed out my comp R's to Morels....What do I do about Pushrods????

We havent installed the motor yet so I decided to go ahead and switch out the Comp R's because of the rap they have gotten lately. But I noticed the morels make the pushrod stick up an 1/8in higher. WHat the hell do I do?
Do I need different pushrods or will I be ok?

Check your valve train geometry. I am guessing you will need shorter push rods but until you check...

yeah just take a black sharpie and write on the valve tip put your rocker on and adjust it like you would normally, rotate the motor over till the rocker opens and closes pull it back off and see where the wear pattern is to determine if you need shorter or longer

What I 've found is +.100 longer since the morels want .030 of preload..... that's 2/3rds of a turn on a 7/16 rocker stud. (or 4 flats)

I just had my installed and the length was the same as it for a oem replacement. Also went 1/16 of a turn past zero lash

How do you quantitate 1/16 turn past zero lash? That's only 22.5 degrees. Kinda hard to estimate I'd think.

I am guessing Brett is telling you what Morel wants for pre-load.

Comp "R" lifters are the ones that want 1/16-1/8th of a turn

Not sure about the Morels but I have a feeling Bret does
