Default Thoughts on Fast intake manifold?

Before I make a large investment, I just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts and oppinions on the FAST intake manifold are like. Problems, HP, likes, dislikes, etc. Also, what other components work well with this manifold? (ie. Fast 90mm throttle body). Thanks.

I've heard some bad stuff about the FAST throttle body but I've heard the NW 90mm TB is good... I don't know how true that is and how much of it is just which got into the hands of a bad/good tuner. NW is cheaper from what I've heard too... You should also be looking at a tune with that big 'ol TB. I've heard nothing but great things about the FAST Intake Manifold.

Both will help, but I dont think either are a requirement. I havent looked to see what people are adding with the FAST 90/90 setup tho with the MAF, but I'd venture to say 98% of the people doing the 90/90 have lids.

Never heard of a 90mm lid.

But to answer your question, do you have too? No. Would it help having a larger one? Yes.

Thanks, I'll stay away from the FAST TB and look more closely into the NW TB with the FAST manifold. Sounds like that is the preferred set up. BTW with this set up, what type of HP gains can I count on??

Ah, thanks.

I never really paid attention to the size of the bore or heard people talk about it. But I can understand why if you had a 90mm TB and 90mm intake why you'd want to have a 90mm lid.

really the only complaint I've heard about the Fast manifold is it's hard to get it to seal properly. You really have to pay attention to your torque specs and gaskets lest you get a leak.
