Default What cam should I run

I have an 96 Z28 Full exhaust, cold air kit, gears, Going to run an 100 shot on it and around an 2400 stall, Not all time daily driver. What is a good cam to run? Looking for good power not worried about idle to much
If I was to run the GM847 What would be a good spring kit and rockers?

If your gonna run a big cam, i would replace the stall with a 3000 rpm stall. 2400 is a waste. I have one myself and its basically junk.

with stock heads run a 540 lift or less cam becuse anything above that will not do anything. As for the duration depends how much u want out of it. If u like N2O go with a bigger exaust duration. I think the 306 cam would be good for stock heads if its the cam im thinking of. If u want real power u want to port the heads. And u can go with a bigger lift cam. Belive me, u will want to port ur heads.STOCK LT1 heads SUCK big donkey *****!

The duration at .050 tappet lift is up to you, bigger equals more horespower pretty much. Obviously at a point your heads can't flow much more, but why not put in a cam with more potential in case you do ever get a ported set. However, you should look into 114 or 115LSA, as these are better for nitrous applications. 112LSA is almost exclusive to high hp N.A. Combination Motorsports has a large selection of nitrous cams, and I believe they're a sponsor.
