Little late, but I feel ya on the studying part. I did make board, but that was the worse exam I have taken my entire 15 years. Geez, I hope that if I have to take it next year (would rather just make Chief), I will study the right stuff this time and I used the BIB this time.

Damn man that sucks! I'm guessing the AF's advancement is constantly fluctuating like the Navy's??? Ours was ~1.7-2.5 for a couple of years for E-4 - E-6. It's coming back up now

I've made the board every time but couldn't get selected (even with early promote evals) until I was the "sailor of the year" for my base.
