Default Is 319.5 rwhp..

Questions are this, Just got my SS of the Dyno @ Marysville Speed "Custom..run 1 318.7 rwhp..329.7 rwtq. Run 2 319.5 rwhp 327.1 rwtq @ 5,330 rmps
Um is my torque supposed to drop off as horsepower increases ? and mainly
is 319 rwhp good for an 2001 SS A4 w / only Cat Back, Lid & KnN Filter and some NGK Iridiums as my only mods from stock ? Or is this on par with what it should be ?? Just so I know where I am starting from.
Mike @ Little Monsters ( Marysville Speed) said my A/F ratio was great, so am I correct in assuming I DON'T need a bigger , better MAF atm ?
Cat Back is an American Thunder by Flowmaster and Ya I know, but it was already on when I joined the site
Any feedback is appreciated
..and Mark, if you read this ... Mike at Little Monsters said Hi.

The numbers are normal and so is the torque dropping off, its just the design of your stock cam. Car sounds fine.

yes, horsepower is actually a version of torque. hp increases with rpms as torque decreases.

Horsepower = (torque x rpm) / 5252

That's the equation, and explains why horsepower and torque cross at 5,252 rpm.

Those numbers are fine, especially for an A4. The flowmasters may sound good but they are the worst flowing aftermarket exhaust and give you just about no more power than the stocker. My brother dyno'd 328rwhp/343rwtq in his 01 M6 WS6 with an SLP lid, K&N filter, and Magnaflow catback. Considering you're an A4 with flowmasters, you shouldn't be concerned about those numbers at all.

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.
And Yeah, I know now about Flowmasters, didnt then <thinking unhappy thoughts> but they will have to stay for a bit, at least until I can think of a way to convince my wife it's a needed repair

well...accidently driving a punch through it would do it...by the way i forgot to say earlier, nice numbers, especially for an A4..but i wouldnt go loudmouth...but what i would do for now thats cheaper than a cat-back is get a cut-out. an electric one. these install infront of the muffler and you could open it and shut it with a switch. so it could be louder and flow better than any cat back, then you can have your stock flow but pretty good sound whenever you want.

Those are pretty good number for your mods, i think the most i did with minor mods was 316/341 and that was with !CATS, lid, cutout and your higher than i was with less stuff (adding your LS6 intake of course) I'd be proud.

Those are great numbers for an A4 with a Flowmaster catback. My car's an M6 and it dynoed the same as your's with the exact same mods. Check sig to see what 319 hp can run.

Oh yeah.

My 98 Z28, also an A4, only made 319 rwhp and 337 rwtq with a lid, longtubes and duals.
