Default weiand vs. Fast 90/90

I have read most of the threads on this issue and nobody has raised the question which intake is better under forced induction. I was told by a friend who builds older cars to go with wieand b/c it will hold up under a turbo application better. I plan to turbo the car in the future and run nitrous in the future. I called an online dealer and he said plastic intakes were only good to around 12 pounds of boost so, which one is going to hold up better to the boost?

Thanks,
Garrett

Kinda like comparing apple to oranges IMO.

The weiand is more comparable in flow to the LS6 intake. No where near the FAST.

Try posting in the Forced Induction section to see if anyone has had trouble with the FAST on a FI setup (I haven't heard of any)

Yeah, I don't think you could compare the fast to weiand and to my knowlegde the FAST is pretty common in forced induction, I seriously can't see it not holding 12 pounds of boost

aluminum seems to be stronger then plastic. also the weiland can be ported to flow like a fast manifold.

But Aluminum can heat soak a whole lot more than FAST composite.
