FAST Intake-78mm or 90 mm
I might be buying a N/A ls2 402 and I was wondering which fast lsx intake to get 78mm or 90mm? Can I run a 78mm tb on the 90mm intake? Just incase I ever decide to run boost.

ls2 uses 90mm tb.. no sence in downsizing... i would run nitrous rather than boost unless you need 600 rwhp all the time. the direct port nitrous into a fast looks great and ive read the nx maf setup works great too.. i like the lq9 stroker better than the ls2 402, only because the ls2 is aluminum and the lq9 is iron.. i know its heavier but i think would be able to safely run more boost or nitrous.

i think you need an adapter plate.. i know you can buy different pieces of the fast intake in case you want to upgrade to 90mm without buying the whole thing so they might sell it.. give texas speed a call, they seem to answer every question i have.. they open at 930 central time and the # is 806-866-0734.. sorry i cant fully answer you i just used 90/90 and it works great, no loss of low rpm tq.. and you have h/c cam so itll work even better for you.

The FAST 90mm intake is what you need, and will work fine with your h/c 346 or a 402. The 78mm TB doesn't fit on the 90mm intake. I'm sure that you could fabricate a plate to make a 78mm TB fit a 90mm intake, but why would you want to? Just get a 90mm TB to go with the 90mm intake.
