i have 2.73 gears right now im upgrading to 3.42's i already have them just need to install how many tenth's will the gears knock of in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile and is my mph gonna go up ?

well if you benchmark against your current 13.8 and change nothing else on the car, install the 3.42s and run your car I'd estimate about 2/10ths give or take. Of course if you add drag tires that would improve a couple more tenths maybe more.

I gained about .2 when i did the switch. Your mph will actually go down, or at least mine did, by 2-3 mph.
