Default o2 sensors questions

If i bought non emissions headers and took out the o2 in the exhaust if it has one would I get a SES light, if so how do you make it so the SES light wont go off w/o sensors

You would need to buy o2 simulators so the SES light wont come on. You might also be able to have them tuned out from a tune from Madz28 or PCMforless, you would have to ask them though to make sure.

You need the front O2 sensors in the headers to run the computer correctly and with a 96-97 you will need rear O2 sims or to get them programmed out or you'll get an SES light without them.

Not neccessarily. You can set the PCM to run in open loop only. You just set the coolant temps for "closed loop enable" as high as possible and it will never get in closed loop.
