Default nitto 315/35/17

will these look nice a fucntion well on my 01 ws6. Iheard they hook well on the street.

I've got them on my 99 SS and i really like them. I haven't lost traction yet

DO they make them in a 16"? I guess they do:
Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial 245/50R-16 96 B , but if you want the big fatty in back your gonna have to get new wheels.
325/50R-15 114V B
315/35R-17 102V

I use the RII's in 275/40zr 17. Same dr rubber but with re-inforced sidewalls for road racing. Not for the average joe. Stiff sidewalls mean harsher ride, but great under the conditions they were made for.

I think the Nitto DR is an all around performer. They do good in dry weather, and not bad in the rain. The tread life on them is good too.

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't 315's cause unecessary parasitic loss due to increased friction and more rotational mass?

Define un-necessary. If you have a traction issue its a relative term. If your doing it for looks then yes it does add to power loss. Although it could be argued that by dropping down to a 15 he negates the adverse effect of a wider tire.
