I changed the seal went back to the track it started leaking again Then I went to 410 gears and I changed the seal again went to the track now its leaking again. Anybody know anything about this. Please pm me or email me at bigred122@charter.net. THANKS

This seems to be a pretty common problem. I've already had mine replaced twice on my '02 (7,000 & 25,000 miles) and it's still leaking. I had the pinion seal replaced 4 times on '98 in a 50,000 mile span. As long as it's not bad enough where it drips onto the ground, I'm not too worried about.

Anyone of the Fine Sponsors to the right should have one, I like Thunder racing Myself. I was having my rearend serviced twice a year for Pinion seal leakage. Neighbor told me to get a "Girdle" w/ stud kit and I won't have this problem again. Sure enough, it's dry as a bone back there. Never have looked back....
I believe a Girdle is the Best Upgrade to the 10 bolt.
It usually will run ya about $160 or so. Want the Stud kit, add another $15 or so to that price. It's well worth it. I got the TA Girdle.
