F.A.S.T. 90mm intake manifold Ok I have done my share of research and time spent looking at many websites and threads. Can someone please post EVERYTHING needed to convert from stock ls1 manifold/tb to a F.A.S.T. 90mm manifold/NW tb. Any gaskets, coolant lines, silicone,etc.
Basically I am ordering my manifold/tb and when it gets here I want to have EVERYTHING to do it and not have to order this, and go get this.I do all of my mods at night when nothing is open so I will NEED to have it all. Is there a kit to order? Please any help would be appreciated.

Think u are going to need a coolant cross over pipe,2 coolant plugs for rear.
new intake gaskets just to be on safe side. Your going to have to drill the egr port on the fast intake if u decige to keep egr. Good luck

You'll need to use silicone or a fabricated hold-down to keep your Map Sensor from popping out of the intake...fits loose! and all the stuff stated before...front crossover pipe, 2 block-offs for the rear, new gaskets, EGR drilled out if running it. Follow the instruction's from FAST and you sholud be good.

I put one on the other week. I ordered new port seals and TB seal. Other than that I would suggest about 3' of 1/4" rad hose, about a 3" piece of 1/4" metal tubing and some zip ties.
1. Once you disconnect the TB coolant hoses cut the hose about 3" from the rad filler and insert the metal tubing about half way and clamp in place.
2. Attach the 1/4" hose and clamp.
3. Cut to length to reach the crossover on the block and once again clamp in place.
4. Use the zip ties to hold the hose in place out of the way of the belt.
There are enughf clamps already there so you wont have to buy any. The extra hose is for bolt spacers so you can get the old manifold out and the new one in because you wont be able to get the rear 5 bolts out if you dont have about 3 extra hands they will hang up in the block. The instructions cover this detail. You will see.
One other thing I ran into was I had to tap the crossover tube down about a 1/4" with a rubber hammer or it hit the intake manifold and it would not seat all the way.
Other than that the the suggestion about the MAP sensor is right on. All the hose is because I did'nt like the look of the splice right in the middle of the line.

Not to knock the F.A.S.T intake but it is very possible to put an LS2 intake on a LS1 with little mods and the F.A.S.T throttle body will bolt up no problem. The reason I mention this is because you can pick up the LS2 intake for about 300 bucks and it is stock 90mm tb

Stay away from the FAST TB. I put one on and have had problems with the blade sticking open and had to rig up a throttle return spring to get it to close all the way and I dont think that is worth the trouble. Go with a Nick Williams 90mm TB instead. Its cheaper and I havent seen anyone post anything about having problems with it. I'm not a expert on the LS1 but I am speaking from expirence. Also are also 2 posts, 1 from me and one from someone else, with the problem I have described. Good luck.
