Gas overflow

Gas overflow I did a search, couldn't find anything similar. My gas tank is low, about 1/8 tank. I went to fill up today, and as soon as I start filling, it clicks off, then spills out the neck of the filler all over the side of the car. I tried going to a different station, it did the same thing. It's like there's some obstruction in the way. Has anyone had this problem?

My car has done that a couple times, I just kept working the nozzle in/out while trying to fill it slowly, and it finally took gas on the same pump. I think the check valve gets stuck sometimes.
