New baby (tow rig)
Linda & I went nuts today. We traded the GTO & the Dakota in on an 03 Avalanche. We wanted a new one with the 8.1L + Allison tranny, but we can't afford a $45k vehicle. This one cost us around $25k, and it's loaded right down to heated leather seats (& the towing package, tho it only has the 5.3L). Funny, as Don said tonight, it's red. GO figure.....with chrome & black trim. Nice truck!
We also snagged a 98 Saturn for Linda to drive to work so the TA doens't sit in the parking garage over night. I'll post pics tomorrow.....

He did take the TA to the dealer and park it next to the truck before we signed any papers first. Had to make sure the reds didn't clash. I'll need a new sig now that the goat is gone. Gonna have to think about that.

Edit: So I'm watching the Olympics, and a Saturn commercial just came on, weird. So anyways I actually think this car is mildy attractive, kind of like the Solstice: Saturn Sky

We took it for a dog-test drive out to Ellis's & Don & Jimbob were there.....whiner!
The GTO is / was at Roy Robinson Chevy in Marysville. Has a whopping 6500 miles on it.
And here are a couple pics to give you an idea.

It was fun to watch the salesmen watch Mark examine the truck. I don't think they get a lot of customers that smell the oil and the transmission fluid. Or that lay down on the COLD cement to look underneath, etc.

NICE!!!
Now for some advice...
Two words for the first mod... MAGNA CHARGER
Tune it for 7-8 psi, it'll last forever.
If the mod listed above may happen... DO NOT not do a MAGNAFLOW catback... resonates like a **** in the cab. Go directly to the Corsa Touring. You'll be happy you did
