LS1edit is the best.
EFILive is what I have and is a good scanner.. as is autotap, you need to pick which one you want.. they both do essentially the same thing.. go to www.autotap.com and download the demo's and pick the interface you like best.. that's sorta what I did..
LS1Edit is a just that.. and ls1 edit program.. it can do anything you want to do.. including destroy your engine if your not careful.. it can manipulate your pcm to do what you tell it..
All of these plug into a port underneath the steering wheel via a cable which runs into a port on a laptop..
Ohh yeh, and just a friendly word of advice, on these boards "NOS" is refered to as "N2 or Nitrous" so as long as you call it that, you';; be ok.. you say "NOS" and you'll get messed with.. Nawwwwwwsssssss... ricer.. spoon engines.. etc.. I personally think it's gone too far, but just a word of warning..

Re: Oh my God
You need a laptop. It sounded like you think that LS1Edit and AutoTap are loaded on to the car. They are not. You load these two programs on to the laptop and you connect the laptop to the car diagnostic plug by use of a special cable. Each program comes with its unique cable.
