True dual mufflers

True dual mufflers
As of right now I have the 18 bullet mufflers from TSP, and I would really like to change up the sound, maybe even quiet it down since I live in townhomes. What I was looking at was 1 chambered flowmasters, would this quiet is down enough to ear a difference or should I look into something else. I read threads that have yes, its a lot different, and no, go with brand z. So, any help would be great.

Agreed. Put another pair of bullets in, and it'll quieten the noise. Or, I'm always hearing how people say they want to swap their Magnaflows and Borlas for something louder. You may wanna check them out, as they flow like a straight pipe.

I say borlas period. They are IMO the quietest muffler @ idle and cruise all while still having that chest pounding bass and rumble. At WOT they scream just like bullets(maybe a little quieter but not much) are much more refined sounding and flow FANTASTICLY.
I love mine! They are a bit too quiet for me, but I'll take quiet over obnoxious any day of the week.

The thing about borla mufflers are they are not cheap. And, do they really flow that well. Flowmaster has that sound(not the 80 series cross flow) you can not replace. I am not planning on sending my car to the muffler shop, I will be doing all the work.

As far as price goes, you get what you pay for. Great flowing mufflers that are stainless, very well built, and are docile compaired to others. You decide. Do it once, do it right.

The 1 chamber flows wont be quieter, just deeper. If your looking for quieter, take a look at the Moroso spiral flow mufflers, they are pretty tame at idle, but at wot, they sound mean.

My buddy put some of those new Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers on his LT1's dual setup. This sounds very quiet at idle, and really opens up at WOT. My adjustable borla exhaust is louder than his car.
