Default Light problem

I need some help from you guys. When I start my car all of my lights flicker, headlights, interior everything. I am thinking alternator related. Anyone run into anything like this, or have any ideas? I think it is starting to do it more often now. TIA.

I would check and make sure that your battery cables are tight. Happend to me before in my Iroc positive cable was a little loose. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, when u say flicker, do you mean pusling?

My cars headlights would always pulse...I went to autozone and got their remanufactured alternator.......works perfect now.

It wasnt the alternator that wasy bad, it was the voltage regulator, but that is inside the alt now.

Just swap it out and your problem will be fixed

My car always does that when the air pump cycles on a cold start. Not pulsing, but they flicker on/off - then stops once the pump shuts off. If you think that might be the case you can disable the pump by pulling the AIR PUMP fuse.
