Default dont add up....

i have a 95 trans am, i run a 12.7 on motor and a 12.5 on the nitrous. this is with a 75 shot, whats the problem? i have ngk tr6 plugs, jacobs ignition, window switch, kicks on at 3200 and shuts off at 5600. this is with a constant bottle pressure at 950psi. i can feel the car pull when its on the gas but the times dont show it and my mph only went up from 108 to 112. is it because im not spraying out the hole? oh and this is the nitrous express wet kit.

60' is where you are leaving time on the table by not spraying..
if you can drop .2 out of the hole by spraying it will pick up .4 on the ET.

also if your shutting off the gas at 5600 you should be shifting at around 5400
if you shift say 5800 then you need to move the gas to 6000

its also highly likely your tune is not perfect. i would think a 75 wet shot would be very rich. i have a friend that runs 100 dry on stock lt1 and the stock tune holds up fairly well.

Personally I'd say the hell with the window switch with such a small shot. It's on a throttle switch right? Is this an Auto or Manual car? If it's Auto then definitely ditch the window switch, or at least have it turn off so you don't spray through the shifts if you're scared about the tranny crapping out. 108 increased to 112 sounds about right if you're spraying a 75hp shot rated at the crank. As far as ET goes, yea the 3200 on 5600 off on a 75 shot isn't going to give you anywhere near the number you would expect from a 75 shot out the gate and full on until the finish line.

it is a auto but im on my second tranny because of the nitrous sprayn through the gears. i got a wot switch and window switch, im gunna drop it to 3000 and get it to shut off at 56 since it shifts at 57. i have a race lined up for tonight against a 11.8 mustang, so ill see if the adjustments make a difference. i know my car can run 11's but i have to get this nitrous problem figured out.

have you verified it shifts at 5700 via a datalogger? im suspect of that.

in addition i would think it would start spraying again as soon as the rpms come below 5600.. which is well before the trans stops slipping to a completed shift at say 5000rpm.
