borla exhaust 3"?

borla exhaust 3"? i am getting a fully adjustable exhaust intalled by MTI soon....they said its a 2.5 INCH with a 3" tip....i thought borla made a 3" they said borla only makes a 2.5????

a midas employee a while back, while looking under the car told me it is a 2.5".. i was kind of pissed cause borla and summit claimed it was a 3"... i don't know if it is that big of a deal, i was just mad they lied to me
