Idle help!!!
My idle is way to low right now for my setup, a 383 with a somewhat big cam LT1. I used tunercat to set the idle 3 times and the idle stays the same or moves up slightly. I set it to the max and I still idle around 500 rpm's so I know now it's not the tuning but something else. I dont see any vaccum leaks so I'm lost. What else controls the idle? I cant even turn my wheel in idle without it cutting off and the smell of gas is killing me and my eyes. Any ideas?

I think you need to play with your open loop AFR tables or your IAC is off, which in that case might need to "drill the hole" in your throttle body to let air in for idle. I never had to do that however and simply tuned the OL AFR tables.
