Unhappy There Goes The Next Car Mod

Mark was out in the garage working on the car (so what else is new) when he noticed water. Quite a bit of water. It seems that the water heater has given up the ghost. There is a steady large drip of water coming out the bottom. The wall is all wet and if it keeps up it might get to the CAR!
So, tonight we will have a new water heater and less money for car mods. The refrigerator is leaking a little too, but he THINKS he can fix that. If not there goes some more car mod money.
Guess I better get back to work soon!

Ummmm.....why stop w/ the water heater and refrigerator, how about some new carpet, bigger kitchen, new sofas, beds, and some plants for the front and back yard? Got a pool? Get one then! That should deplete his mod money, and give the rest of us a chance to catch up.

On a side note: Someone pass that advice to 00Vette's wife too.

Yeah, just replaced the water heater in the house last year too. One of the last things my mom bought before she died.

The guy who installed our new water heater told me of one he did recently where an old one blew out the side of the bottom. He said it was a water heater similar to ours and when it blew it went through two walls and flooded their family room. The Trans Am sits right in front of the water heater in our garage. I'm glad ours didn't blow out in it's direction.

Yeah, I'd have to say Mark and I both have some great wives.

Although I get to hear all about it when **** breaks or something else needs money thrown at it. I don't REALLY need a fenced back yard do I? That could be new cylinder heads.

Ellis know's how my wife gets when my car breaks.. Up until that point its all good!

I like Don's approach. Spend $ on the wife FIRST! Then you can do whatever you want to the car!

As for the water heater spraying down the car, that was never a concern.
