need stall converter (TCI)
i need to know a website or a place, where i can get the cheapest touque converter, with a 2400-3000 stall, for a 00' camaro Z28 automatic 4L60E. i would like to have a TCI. but if there is another brand out there that is just as good, please let me know. thanks a lot.

Dont bother with a TCI. IMO they are junk. And I also don't think you'll be happy with anything under a 3200 stall. Fuddle is the hot ticket right now for cheap quallity torque converters. If you wanna have some fun and are willing to spend a bit more money get yourself a 4000 yank. Either way you go check out some of the sites to the right of the screen. Thunder racing and texas-speed are some of the places I order from alot.

Yanks and Fuddles websites seem pretty helpful, in explaining how a TC works. Assuming you haven' t looked already, after familiarizing yourself with these sights, you should have a better idea on what you are looking for. IMHO, I think you will be happier starting above a 3000 stall. I can tell you customer service at Yank is very good. I have delt with them a time or two. Fuddle is really good too. They have people interested in getting you set up with something suitable for you. At least, getg a look into both of these guys

I also have a TCI 3500 and I have seriously outgrown it, its been a good converter but if i were buying again I would go with something in the 4000-4400 range. Go big or go home!!

My opinion is to avoid TCI. And yes, this comes from first hand experience. If nothing else I think they are inconsistent in quality.
Fuddle still hasn't been around long enough to know for sure, IMO, but there is an awful lot of good feedback on them.
My new converter, which will hopefully be in next week, is a Yank.
