no power to my code scanner port???

Default no power to my code scanner port???

im not getting any power to my port to check my codes on my 2000 z-28 anybody else had this problem or know what direction i should be going in now? its not just my scanner either same thing happened at auto zone i had to take it there just to make sure mine wasnt broken

Check your "CIG/ACCY" fuse - it also powers the DLC.

yeah i had the same problem. i even went to three different auto zones to have it scanned, all in vain. i thought that there was no way all three scanners were broke. sure enough, the above mentioned fuse had blown. check ur manual to see exactly where it is located. the fuse box that its in is the one on the drivers side in the far left corner, only visiable when the door is open. it's fuse number 11 and is located three rows down from the top, and three fuses from the left (or from the first column of fuses).

should have checked that first worked after i replaced the blown fuse thanks guys
