Default Any tips on installing aftermarket Pedals?

I am thinking about buying some aftermarket pedals for my 01' Camaro.

To install these do you have to drill through the old pedal, is this hard stuff to drill through, and will the universal hardware mounting kit definiley fit a Camaro?

Alright do any of you know of any good 'red' pedals that are good quality.
