Default Anyone ever used "flex-head" gear wrenches???

I know gear wrenches are a must but Ive never seen flex head gear wrenches. I was just wondering if they are worth buying over regular gear wrenches. Thanks!!

I don't know if I would buy one over the other, but the flex heads come in just as handy as the regular ones.

I have the locking flex heads from Craftsman and I like them a lot, but I use my regular gear wrenches more often.

I have reversible flex heads from Blue Point. These are the greatest wrenches made. Off the snap-on truck, they are about four times the price of the Gear Wrench brand flex heads. Flex gead is deffinantly the way to go.

i have a set at work and they can be handy. but it seems if i try to use one too quickly or at an odd angle, the ratchet comes off the fastener every few ratchets and you have to repositon it alot

They work fair, but my most used ones like the 10mm are getting a sloppy head, not to stiff any more.

yea, i love em'. stick with a brand name though, like gearwrench or bluepoint because sometimes, the gearing likes to stick or jam.sometimes you can bang them to get the moving again, sometimes you can't.always good to have someone warrenty them for you.i work for a diesel trucking co., so my tools take abuse.but overal, they work very well.

My GearWrench set is the flex head design. I like them a lot, and am able to fit them in some odd angles that a straight/offest wrench won't get to.

Me, too! The flex-head really helps in tight spaces...
