I think it would look great if you had a c/f theme. The only one I had seen done was a sticker and not a real c/f overlay done.

I'd say just do the CF stripe similar to what Tony did, where it continues to the back. Then do CF CAMARO fill ins and that'll look much better than an entire CF tail panel.

Just my .02

I've been trying to get a hold of a panel so I can try it. Wasn't able to and since now the carbon fiber shortage is pretty bad its hard to find a piece that long. And if you do it costs a lot. Good luck on it though. Keep us updated.

CF doesn't really work like that... it frays very easy, and is hard as hell to cut. A manta stripe would be impossible...

A vinyl CF look decal would be the only way to go. And that would; like you said, look shitty.

I was thinking the same thing, but then saw you wanted to go cheap on the tail.

Figure what, $700/$800 for a decent CF hood? Then, paint and prep work. You're looking at $1000 at least.

well paint and prep is not an issue. and i will benefit from the weight of a carbon fiber hood. i dont mind spending money on something nice, i just dont want to waste it

I would buy a CF rear panel if there was one, I think it would look cool. As for a CF hood Ive seen some partial CF hoods the only full CF hood Ive ever seen is the DGM Carbon Fiber Hood. I was considering buying it but its a little pricy at $1200 though.

i was gonna do that exact thing, got any info on the company who makes the panel? pm me if u have to

my plan was to cover the top of the hood, with the thinest layer of CF i could, then paint it and leave the "manta" stripe unpainted, and then also a CF pillar and a CF spoiler and then paint it but leave the top CF. but i dont think itll be possible to do it
