Default Do i use my diablo tuner w/nos

I have read somewhere that your not suppose to use the handle held tuner with nitrous. I jsut bought a kit last night, and need to know before it gets here so i don't **** anything up. What i am saying is what can i use far as tuning it because i have gears and i need the tuner. The other quesion i have is what is the biggest and safest wet shot can a stock fuel system handle?

Yes you can use your Diablo tuner with nitrous. I used to run a 150 shot with one. Just back the timing down and watch for KR. A 150rwhp shot will start to push the limits of the stock fuel system but it is doable. If you want to be safe keep it at a 125 or so.

KR is Knock Retard, basicly how much the car is retarding the timing because of detonation (knock). If you look at your real time data it should be twards the bottom of the screen. You want 0 KR at WOT, detonation can kill the motor quick.

If you have access to a wideband to check you Air Fuel ratio that would be good to.

It will show you you A/F ratio so you can make fuel adjustments if need be. Do an N/A run and look for it to be about 12.2-13.0, then do one with the nitrous. There is some debate as to what a good A/F ratio is for nitrous cars, I personally always run mine about 11.0-11.5.
