Default sonnax "super hold servo" piston

anyone using this?

my tranny guy said I'm the guinea pig as he has never used it with anyone else's transmission. Its supposed to hold 4th gear better and eliminate the 3-4 clutch from failing.

HERE is a picture of it installed.

http://transmissionspecialty.com/par...77767k(rb).pdf is a link to a brochure type thing.

just wanted to know if it works well or not.

They make a 2nd and a 4th gear servo.

I am running the 2nd gear super hold servo and I like it. Can't say anything about the 4th, I actually didn't even know they had one until recently. I don't go WOT into 4th so it doesn't matter to me anyway. You're talking pretty high speeds there and it's real hard on the transmission going into OD at WOT.

The 4th gear servo affects 4th gear only. I'll keep my eyes open though, and if I feel like spending the money to try it I might. It doesn't require removal of the transmission to install the 4th gear servo.
