reduce tire pressure, and if track isn't prepped, well good luck getting those Nittos to hook.

But suspension mods will help.

Is you car lowered or anything?

>You can remove front sway bar
>BMR LCA's
>Relocation bracket (lower bolt for non dropped rides)

I have a 3000 stall and mine hooks HARD. Even on the spray off the line. 1.53 60'!
I run MT e.t. streets with 20psi. Thats a lot of air for the track and they still hook. Ive never had nittos. So i cant intelligently comment on how they compare against MTs. But yeah just lower the air pressure, stall the car up as high as you can,and launch that bitch. Good Luck

Do the LCA relocation brackets help on a non lowered car? I've heard different opinions on this.

What kind of drag radials do you recommend for the street on stock 16" alloys? I'm torn between the bfg & mts.

Thanks in advance for your help

It will help with the suspension geometry even on a stock ride height car. Although the weakest link will always be the tires. You will always need tires that will hook...

Nittos suck!!! Get MT DR's they hook way harder, 20-18psi is what i normally run mine at depending the track.

I run my nittos 30psi on the street and track. Foot brake the car at 2000 and just release the brake, don't nail it just yet. When you let off the brake the car will do either 1 of 2 things; spin or launch. If you spin at 2000 rpms, your burnout wasn't good enough or the track prep sucks. If you launch, then roll into the gas. Worked well from me with a 3500rpm launch.

Stand on the brakes, those 3.42s may be trying to push you though.

I usally footbrake it to 1300rpms and then it will hook, it seems to hook better on the street though. Track prep here isnt really good on test n' tune days. Im going to Et's in a week or so.

I have a Vig 3000 and with the Nittos and just H/C with about 385 rwhp I would spin the Nittos like crazy. I have a 98Z28.

I have since installed an ATI DSC1 and now with near 500 rwhp and tons of TQ it just blows the Nittos up to 40 that I run on the street.

I went to MT drag radials and with them traction is much improved but I still spin the tires but we didn't play with the air pressure much, or remove the front sway bar, or adjust the Spohn TA. But even with a lousy 1.8 60 foot we ran a 11.6.

With Hal Adjustables and adjusting all of the above I think we can throw some more weight to the rear wheels and drop the 60 ft easily to 1.5 or 1.6 and get low 11's.

But took the car of out winter storage and 3-4 blew, so havent had a chance to test any of the above until I get the A4 replaced. Am going with a Fuddle convertor and Rock ON 4lE60 to handle the 500 rwhp.

So with better tires, shocks, and suspension pieces I think you will be able to dead hook if the track is prepped.

Get rid of the Nittos and get some MT DRs.

RevGTO next time we are at the track in Wichita will look for you.

Mt Dr's don't hook either, was messing around with a g tech today with a full tank of gass and 3 fat ppl in my car (prolly 4000 raceweight) and still spun off the line first with a 2500 footstall and then with an 1800.

When they're hot, they hook as well as an ET Street. Round up your fat friends, grab your G-Tech ( ), HEAT the tires then footstall to 1800, and it'll hook.

My point was that the nittos will hold when stalled up, but as soon as you let go and give throttle, they spin. The only way I can launch is with no brake stall, ease it out and punch it. And that's after a good burnout.

Can you use a line lock and let it go when you launch?
