Default Fuel Cell back from anodize...

Not really sure if I like the different texture, I was initally going to polish it so it had a shiny finish but decided on somewhat of a brushed finish...

I think polished would look much better. Kind of a dull finish on that. Did you get the vacuum system done?

Eastern Plating in Baltimore, I am probably going to make a new tank and polish it before we anodize it. I've seen their work when the aluminum is polished before its anodized and its an amazing difference. It will work for now...

Did you do all that swirl stuff before or after the anodizing. Phil if it was before FIRE the anodizer. Not your best work you usually are more maticulus. Anyway find an anodizer that will work with you on that tank. You should be able to strip it and reanodize it.

I picked up more aluminum to make yet again another fuel tank. Its easy and takes abou 30 minutes to do the whole process. This time I am going to polish it.

Phil, where are you mounting it? What you going to do with your old one once you make a new one?

Robert,
Who knows, we have a couple of projects so it may end up in one of those cars. The fuel cell actually looks pretty interesting in person but polished would be better.

You definitely want to bead blast it, polish out the whole tank and then anodize it. You will be amazed at how awesome it will look if you do that process. Something like a smoke charcoal anodized over polish would look real good !
