Cant get in my f#$^ing hatch!
Well the other day, I went to go get the nitrous bottle refilled and the key wouldnt go in to the keyhole in the back. I looked around for a while and kept fidgeting with it and I cant get the damn thing lined up. I dont know where to take it or what the fix is and I dont have a the electric hatch release so thats not a possibility. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

if its like our SS, there is no electric release at all, nevermind one on a key fob(and there is no key fob either). you might have to see if you can see anything from inside the car(if the flap is folded down). if that doesn't work then a locksmith might be ur only option

you can try some heat valve lube from any gm dealer of some pb blaster, that what i use to free up cylinders at work. just spray it on the key and in the cyl and jam the key in.

Its because you took your spoiler off...
Try pushing the electric release button inside the car while someone else pulls up on the hatch simultaneously. Maybe the latch is just hung up on something.

I once got a part of a blanket caught in the lock--wouldn't open with key OR fob.....I crawled in the back with a flashlight, pulled the carpeting/material that covers the lock mechanism down, and used a Medium sized FLATHEAD screwdriver to poke at the spring/lock area and got it open after about 2 minutes..hope this helps--I was frantic at first 'til I calmed down and tried this.
