408ci Directport
well Im about to finish my directport w/steel lines and im not sure what shot to begin with because i havent sprayed on this motor b 4..the motor has already like 8k on it so its really broken it already... any advice.. by the way i have a stand alone for the n20, and i will be using the maximizer to adjust how hard the kit hits.. by the way this is a nx directport with two noids. what do you guys think, 100, 150,175, 200, 225 or 250 shot. my kit jumps from a 150 shot to a 200shot i was leaning towards a 200 shot..

then go threw, be sure you hook, adjust suspention accordingly, be sure everything looks good.
after a few track runs, when you get a few minits do a compresson test or leak down on the motor just for safty.
lots of things need to be done. biggest thing is plugs. be sure your not lean or melting them, timming is right ect ect.

When I think "check" I am referring to A/F ratio. This will let you know everything is working fine. Doing a large shot and not knowing your A/F is risky to me. That's just me. After I know my A/F is good, (or if not why) then other things fall in line to check. I personally record a 3rd gear hit with my LM-1 and see where I am at. This gives me a 5 second run under good load and I can see if my fuel pressure is set correctly and the system is working well. This also takes traction out of the equation and gives a nice run.

i know what im looking at, but to try to explain, that would be hard to do.
i know what to looks at, but different setups change.
some may need more fuel by jet, or fuel pressure, ect ect ect.
i think some one did it one time, it wasnt 100% correct, but real close.
the right way todo it, is do a pass, as soon as you pass the traps, shut the car right off, roll off the track, pull over and pull a couple plugs. thats the most accurate ay
