Default Help! This is kiiling me!

Ok everyone, I have been having an "issue" with selecting gears. Under high RPM acceleration, it is "hard" to get the stick in a selected gear. I can almost wait while the stick slides into gear. I installed a PRO 5.0 recently, and allthough the throws are nice, I still have this issue, what is it? I heard the 98-00 f-bod's had poor hydrolics. What could this be?

Drill mod, a good bench bleed, and a full bleed to follow up should take care of that.

You definitely need to do the "drill mod". Removing the line restriction allows the brake fluid to move more freely.

Just an update for whoever does a search later on and comes across this thread...

I did the drill mod... didnt help...

...so I bought a Mcleod Adj. Master, installed it... and it cured the problem.

Instant fix.... I can now slam gears as fast as I want...

You should still do the drill mod though... It'd be stupid to have it all apart and NOT do it...
