cobra stick on stock shifter?

cobra stick on stock shifter? anybody know... can i use a cobra stick on the stock t56 shifter? like, are those two holes in the same place and the same size? fbody **** selection sucks- cobra thread pattern is much more universal.

is this true for all mustang sticks? or just the 6 speed cobras?
i've noticed 5 speed mustang stick also have the 2 holes, but dont know if theyre the same diameter/distance apart

which is what I was trying to say,why use the cobra shifter? The original poster said the **** selection sucks for our cars which is why I pointed the c6 **** out.And....?

The poster was also asking about the stick bolt pattern. Sounds like the original poster didn't know tha tth eknob can be replaced without replacing the stick itself.
