cobra stick on stock shifter?

Default cobra stick on stock shifter?

anybody know... can i use a cobra stick on the stock t56 shifter? like, are those two holes in the same place and the same size? fbody **** selection sucks- cobra thread pattern is much more universal.

Same bolt pattern on the handle. I am using a Mustang handle on my t56.

is this true for all mustang sticks? or just the 6 speed cobras?
i've noticed 5 speed mustang stick also have the 2 holes, but dont know if theyre the same diameter/distance apart

I can only vouch for the t56 stick, but I suspect that all Tremec tranmissions use the same bolt pattern on the shifter handle.

what year mustang handle r u using?? i have one out or a 03 cobra and it is angled too much, it hits the shifter bezel when it goes into 2nd.

Mine is the same handle shown in this picture:



Mine is in an RX7 so our consoles are different.

And its not on the factory f-car (the ****) which is what I was trying to say,why use the cobra shifter? The original poster said the **** selection sucks for our cars which is why I pointed the c6 **** out.And....?

The poster was also asking about the stick bolt pattern. Sounds like the original poster didn't know tha tth eknob can be replaced without replacing the stick itself.
