New plan?
In light of recent events, I may not be doing an open road race this year after all. But my brohter just told me about something that does interest me. It's called the Americruise. Two caravans leave (1 west coast & 1 east coast) and travel to Lincoln Nebraska for a car show & some "timed events". Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. So I thought I'd post in case anyone else would be interested.....

Not sure if I'd trailer the car to Cali & cruise from there, or trailer it to Omaha & cruise down with my brothers in their hot rods. I depends on local interest.

Looks like a blast but one of my best friend's is getting married that weekend & I am in the wedding so I can't go.
Let me know how it goes and maybe I can work it in next year.

There's always Hot Rod Power tour.
When I went back in 2002, there was new and old. Some things people were driving in it, I just shook my head at. Such as a Chrysler Sebring 'vert. A hot rod? Come on people.
