Pacesetter LT Install?
I was thinking of buying pacesetter LT for my 01ss and I was wanting to know how hard is the install and will I have any ground clearance problems b/c I have sportline springs.

I really like the Pacesetters, had the removal of stock crap and had it installed in around 4 hours (with a lift). The slid right in, all I had to do was loosen the steering linkage, but other than that they were easy to fit in there.
Oh yeah, I used to have Sportlines and they didnt drag, you will be draggin on the ypipe not the headers. I recommend ditching the Sportlines tho. One of the best thing I have done was swapping to the Prokit.

I agree with everyone here.....I have them, LOVE them, they sound great, I got very noticable gains from the install. Took me and my buddy like 10hrs to do, but that was alot of breaks, several beers, and smoke breaks.
Best bang for the buck!!!
Also get you some TR 555 plugs.....

real simple...just take your time...me and a buddy did it one night with a full exhaust and taking out the air system it took us a total of 10 hours without all the tools weneeded and no lift...dont hesitate. just make sure u get everything done right.

Thats the LTs Im leaning towards getting too. Thought Id let you know I seen them on texas speeds web site for about $375(coated LTs). What Y pipe should you get to go with these headers and what do you do about the O2 sensor throwing the ses light.

i got them and love them. Prokit hasn't caused a bottom out on them yet. Get the O2 extensions from one of the sponsors though, don't you the wiring kit that comes from Pacesetter. I hooked up all my air tubes and didn't throw a code.
