They have like a flame tread design? If so, I think those are the ones I saw in Summit or Jeg's. Though they had a 26" design with a 4.5" tread, they seem to be geared twards street rods.

Looks like the narrowest 26" front runner has a 6.0" width. Kinda wide for a 15x3.5? http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch .

i dont remember the exact tread but that is what they said on teh side. i specifically remember the sportsman s/r on the side. they looked like a radial and i know they had a dot rating on them.

wonder if they are heavy? and how good would they be with m/t bias ply out back....

doing a quick comparison, the size is not a huge issue. but the weight goes from 12 lbs for et fronts to 20 lbs for the radials.

This is the tire I'm running up front:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...egory_rn=36694

I'm running the 26"x7.5"x15" in the 8-ply on a 15"x3.5" prostar. I'm running ET streets out back and dont really have any issues with them. But I mostly run the 1/8th mile, so I dont really go that fast.

Looks like this is what you are looking at:

Looks like the only size they make to fit a 3.5" rim is a 24"x5"x15". That is a little small for my taste. I'm not sure what you are running though.

no they make a 26x6 which was designed for a 4" wide rim in teh s/r

but to me it looks like a heavy street tire.

Are you running a 4" rim? I'm running a 3.5". It says the s/r 26"x6" weighs 19.7 lbs.
The sportsman 26"x7.5" 8-ply weighs 19 lbs. and the 4-ply 16 lbs.
The Front runner 26"x4.5" weighs 12 lbs.

So, compared to a ET front runner, they do weigh alot more thats almost 16 lbs of weight on the front end.

Those MT front radials won't hold a stock weight fbod. Their rated at 900 lbs per tire. 1800 lbs total for the front.

If they don't cost 2 arms & a legs, I'd like to try a set.

6652 - 26X6.00R15LT - 20 - 3.5-5.0

20lbs isn't horrible.

This is an interesting tire:
6682 - 26x6.00R18LT - 18 - 4.5-5.5
