Default Crank position sensor.

My crank position sensor is out again only 2 weeks after it had been replaced.
What could be causing this? Since I have had a H/C install it has went out twice, each time after about 500 miles of driving.

Are you performing the CASE (crank angle sensor error) Learn procedure when you put in the new sensor. As I was told the PCM is not recognizing the sensor and the angle of the deviation from the PCM firmware.

No, did not do that. How do I perform that without any tuning software?
The car ran strong for 2 weeks after replacing the sensor. Is that normal?
