I traded mine also. Really easy if you follow the instructions from their sales dept. I've seen some people complaining about the turnaround time, but mine was less than 2 weeks and I got an email from them letting me know they received my serial cable and another when they shipped the new one. Really good customer service in my case.

currently i wouldnt say better...but you have many more options in that you can tune I4, LS2, LS7, 4.3ltr v6, etc. Not to mention vin locked licensing, better pricing structure with upgrade credits, etc. Eventually when black box logging is released even the units themselves will be better...currently its more about the software that can go along with the usb units.
