Argo Cycles?
Anyone have any feedback on the place? Found some decent bikes i was thinking of going to look at, never ridden so it'd be my first bike. Figure i'd get one that has some minor damage so that when i drop it i dont feel so bad Plastics are easy to replace anyways...Whats decent mileage on a bike? I was looking at a 98 GSXR-600, good bike? Any input would be great, thinking of shooting up this afternoon!

if you had a permit you could sign up for the rider's course. it's a two day thing, they teach you how to ride and you get your license from them. www.ironstoneventures.com me and my brother are going this sunday and tuesday. my brother is going to get the kawasaki zx-6r prob within a few days after. i keep hearing that they are easier to handle and they dont give anything up over other 600cc bikes.

Argo Cycles deals all salvage title bikes.
I'm not going to **** talk them here, but I wouldn't buy a bike from them. He sells A LOT of bikes. I'd say the majority of them are sold on ebay and cycletrader.
The pictures they put up, show the bikes looking in decent condition. As posted above, why don't you search how much a new set of fairings etc. cost you.
-Upper
-Headlight
-fuel tank door/lock
-Gas tank
-Side fairings
-tail
**** adds up quick, and soon you'll have a salvaged title bike, that you can't get rid of for anywhere near what you've got into it.
Go down to the store, pick up a 6-pack, and a want ad. Go through the Suzuki section and look for a newer style 600 (I'd say 01 or better) and check them out.
Make sure before you buy a zook, that its comfortable. Go to the dealers, sit on them all.
I ride an '06 GSXR 1000 and it's the most comfortable crotch rocket I've ridden (I'm 6'5"). Everybodys got an oppinion, and everyones different. Find what fits you...
My buddy just picked up an '02 GSXR 750 with 7k miles for $4k. This is a good deal, but you won't find it often. He just flipped it for $6000.
Look for a 01/02 GSXR or comparable 600 bike for around that price. Ride it, and be safe.

My buddies in Core 6 are sponsored by them, and my boss has known the owner of Argo for at least 10 years.
Build the car, and buy a bike. Just ***** yourself out on the corner so you can do both.
