HP Tuner program for LS1 to LS2 swap?
Is there anything out of the ordinary you have to change in HP Tuners if you install a LS2 402 into a '99 SS LS1 car? So far we have changed the injector size, MAF table, engine litres (does anyone know the EXACT litre the 402 is?), and got it to idle.
I'm trying to nail down this cam sensor issue that I'm having. Is a relearn really neccessary with a motor swap?
Any info into this will be AWESOME!!!! We plan to tune more today.

not sure of the liter exactly but the formula is:
(1/2 bore)^2 * stroke * pi
or... lazy way heh ... my 382 stroker
0.78964 * 8 = 6.31712 so 6.3 Liter, 382/6.3 = 60.470594194822957296996099488374
so 1 liter is 60.470594194822957296996099488374 cubic inches
402/60 = 6.7 so a 402 is a 6.7 Liter
6.7/8 = 0.8375
the formula above should yield close to this

anytime you change the displacement do this:
open your new tune with the displacement changed.
open your OLD tune with the old displacement as the compare file.
you'll notice the VE tables look diffrent between the two... copy the OLD one over the new one.
this is because the VE table is calculated off of displacement.. so your VE table looks smaller on the new tune until you fix it...
wont be perfect of course, but it'll be closer for a starting point.
