Dude your looking at buying a car like that and your worried about gas mileage. Bahahahaha. Yea, it would be a good daily driver if gas wasn't like 3.50 a gallon now. People buy V8 F-bodys for their performance not their gas mileage.

Yea with a motor like that its not gonna be good. Prolly around 6-8. Hell mine sucks gas but I kinda have a lead foot. All depends on your driving style I guess. But if I had a car like the one you mentioned above I'd prolly just buy a bicycle to ride back and forth. That'd be a win-win situation, no miles on your car,no gas to buy(money for more mods) and you would be in freakin great shape.

I'm gonna say 10. You can see the mods in my sig and even though I have OD, it still only gets about 12 with mostly highway driving. If I drive it a few days, to work and back, several lesser trips, it's more like 10 and less.

I get 12 mph with my car and that's with a 4.11 gear. I'll be switching to a 3.50... not for fuel economy, but for more mph at the track. If you are considering buying a car like that, you shouldn't be concerned with fuel economy. My daily driver is a 2001 Acura Integra GS-R... that's what you should be thinking about getting (or something like that) if you are concerned with fuel economy.

With no overdrive it's not going to be pretty. Racing seats probably won't be very comfortable either. That car does not sound like a good choice for a daily driver and it might not even pass inspection.

wrong choice for a daily driver man, I wouldn't use it as a daily driver even tho it costs me 11.99 for a full tank here, na dleving the gas a side, it will be too loud, too stiff, and the seats will be so damn annoying.
but thats just me.
but thats just me.

man, it would be just ridicules if the gas was expensive in Bahrain, we export that **** to all other countries, not that we benefit from the Income but at least we have cheap gas.
Just for the recored our Gas is crap, its ron/mon 93, thats is really bad.

Bahrain is a little Island near Saudi. The best thing about Bahrain is that it is not a dry country IE you can get alcohol.
I liked Kuwait a little more Kuwait had long stretches of Highway with jungle rules, so I could drive 150+ for hours at a time.
Back to the topic, I would buy that car for a DD since it is only a 6-8 mile commute. However, I like fast cars, my high school DD was an LS6 454 SS Chevelle with a 4 speed and 4.56 rear end gears. I know that gas was only about a 1.50 when I was in high school however, I was only making 3.35 an hour. It was rough paying for gas, parts, fines, and my lawyer on 3.35 an hour but it was worth it!
Go for it!
