Lightbulb Trade or Sale - 98 Formula Drag Car

I'm considering selling or trading this huge money pit, before I commit to installing another $16K worth of parts into it. I simply don't have the time to go drag racing as much as I used to, so I wouldn't get much use out of the car.

-The entire drivetrain, suspension, brakes, tranny, wheels/tires, etc... have ZERO miles on them. Everthing is brand new except the engine.
-The chassis was recently NHRA certified to 7.50 ET or slower.
-All chassis and suspension work done by Madman ($5300 worth of receipts)
-Car runs/drives. Currently has a 440 rwhp LS6 based heads/cam engine under the hood. Futral cam, longtubes, LS6 intake, ported LS6 heads.

I have over $25,000 invested in the car as it sits. Make me a reasonable cash offer or potential trade, and I'll consider it.

Here are the parts on the car:
-BMR Extreme Duty torque arm
-BMR lower control arms
-BMR K-member
-BMR upper and lower A-arms photo
-QA1 12-way adj front and rear shocks (coil-overs up front)
-TCI Dedenbear cased Powerglide tranny, max effort build ($$$)
-TCI racing converter, stalled for 1000 rwhp @ 3200 lbs, 7K rpm shifts
-TCI trans brake, Thunder Racing line lock
-TCI Outlaw shifter
-Madman lightweight manual steering rack
-Strange lightweight drag race rear brake system
-Aerospace lightweight drag race front brake system
-new brake lines and braided lines
-Billingsley ABS delete block
-Billingsley Fab-9 rearend with gun-drilled 35 spline axles and star flanges ($$$) photo
-Billingsley anti-roll drag race bar
-Wolfe 10-pt chrome moly rollcage w/ window net
-Wolfe thru-floor subframe connectors
-cam-lock 5-point racing harnesses on both seats
-Madman heater delete firewall panel
-Weld Aluma-Star 2.0 billet front wheels, 15x10 rears ($$$)
-Brand new M/T ET Drags (28x10.5) and front runners
-CNC ported LS6 heads
-Futral F11 cam (228/230)
-Dynatech stepped longtube headers 1-3/4 to 1-7/8
-LS6 intake
-MTI ported T-body
-MTI airbox lid
-ASP crank pulley
-Speed Inc lightweight carpet (still in box)
-Sparco "Rev" racing seats (to be installed)

what does the car need? A wheel alignment, then it can make passes as-is.

Help me get this money pit out of my garage, so that I can work on my '69 Camaro project instead

Interior shown with old seats, no carpet installed:

oh yeah, I'd knock $2K off of the car if it sells without the engine. I can use that for my '69 project.

When you crunch the numbers, thats what makes me want to sell it.

$25K invested as it currently sits.

$16K worth of purchased parts that I still need to install:
-408ci LME iron block with AFR 225 heads, Victor Jr, elbow
-racing fuel tank, dual pumps, 96# injectors, regulator, lines, rails
-Big Stuff 3 engine management system
-PT88mm turbo
-custom turbo kit, with BOV, wastegate, etc..
-Spearco front-mount intercooler

= $41,000 drag car that I won't have time to race.

nope, I'd rather not part anything out right now.

I'll sell it as-is, or I'll just finish it. I'd rather have the cash or a nice street car to be honest. Convertibles or Corvettes are of interest

What about an 88 Monte SS converted to T56 with a 383? Not exactly a classic, and not worth anything near $21k, but...

I have all of the parts to finish the car into a 1000 rwhp 408ci single turbo monster. But, like I said before, I'd consider dumping the car as-is before I drop all of that pricey hardware into it. Right now the car is just a stout heads/cam car with an awesome chassis under it.

Also, if someone has to go 9s in this car as-is, I also would sell you a brand new Nitrous Express MAF kit, with polished bottle and billet bracket. Also has the bottle warmer, digital RPM switch, purge, blowoff, etc... all brand new in the original packaging. I thought about throwing a 75 shot in the Vette with this kit

Alex, not really into Monte's, sorry.

I have about $7K into the 408ci. It could be slapped in easily in place of the current 346ci. The custom turbo system, Big Stuff 3, fuel system would just take some time to install. Its a low compression (8.5:1) 408 with AFR 225 heads and a custom cam. 1/2" head studs, built to handle 1200-1500 hp under boost. Right now the car has a custom tuned 98 PCM, and an in-tank pump to feed the 346.
