I need some recomendations on a good transmission shop in or near fort worth. I need a rebuild, but I also don't have the money to pay much more than 1000.

Do you have a T-56 or Auto? If you have a T-56 I know an affordable place, but you probably wont believe me when I tell you the price.

If its a T56 give Jason at Texas Drivetrain a call, his work is amazing, cheap, and fast.

does anyone knoe if Jason rebuilds A4s? I was under the impression that Jason didn't rebuild automatics. He did my 3.73's and i agree that he does excellent work. If he does do automatics then I would like to use him. Otherwise, does anyone have a number for RPM?

Neither of those guys work on A4's. Try Pheonix transmissions or Mikes Transmissions I've heard both are supposed to do good work on A4's.

Call Dave at Rock-On-Transmissions. All he does is performance builds on the 4L60 family transmissions. He is by far the best in the area. His # is (non)sonsor-contact. They are located in Krum just north west of Denton. Up hwy. 35W from you. You will be pleased with there service.
