I need some help guys WTF is a QDM1 - quad drive module HEy guys well I keep on gettin the same code QDM1 failure........
can anyone point me in some direction of to what or where the hell this thing is or if its inside the ECU or somethign?
car is a 93 so ECUS prob a lil diff but I believe this is causign my car to run like ****?
Please someone give me some insight! Thanx!

On a 93 this is the EVAP module, the A.I.R connection, and something else, go here, you should find it there.

Hmmmm, I took mine out, so does that mean it is throwing that code? cause it did it even before I took it off but mabey it was possibly not working before then?
I couldnt find anythign on that site really?

You will get a Quad Driver Module fault whey you get rid of your EGR and AIR pump. You can get red of the SES light by having it tuned out. Just have a custom chip burned for it. I would suggest PCMforless.

hmmm that wouldnt explain my stutterign problem though would it? Ive been thinking mabey my opti signal isnt so good. I get a sturttering problem or would the AIR thing do that to?

I took my EGR and AIR pump and all other emmisions equipment off, and I have no issues. Just make sure that you have no vacuum leaks where you put the block off plates.
