Default hesitation?

i have a 94 z28... every now and then while im driving, everything seems normal then all of a sudden the engine hesitates for about 2 seconds or so (ie RPM goes down, car seems like its about to stall) then goes back to normal like nothing happened... the SES light comes on straight after and stays on till i switch off the car... next time i switch it on the SES disappears...

any idea what this is or what could cause it? I have to add that my car is operating at higher than usual temps (it used to run normally between 185-200, but now with real hot weather its somewhere in the range of 210-235)

any ideas? i cant get the codes since i dont have a scanner and no where close by does it for cheap

My first thought was fuel. Fuel pump or filter. need to see what your fuel psi is and find out what that light is. It's still in the memory.

My car is running a little hotter as well but not alot. if you dont have already i reccomend a 170 thermostat, and a tune to adjust what times your fan come on.

bring the car to me or Ill come to you and read your codes for you easilly. If youre OBD1 with a 94 connection then it's all good. OBD2 or OBD2 connection I have no cable or software for.

Alot of guys on the island from what ive seen hardwire thier fan to keep them on. I reccomend a SLP, Caspers, or SS kit. Each kit has it's plusses and minus. I like the casper stuff so that may be what I go with. Get your cooling system flushed as well.
