F1-R Owners ... please chime in.
In less than two months, I will have my new powertrain installed in my F-body. What I would like to see is everyone that has a F1-R setup, what mods your have, power output and/or laptimes. I am trying to get an idea what I will be making. Also, let me know if you had any failures or issues.

Geez, we made 717 rwhp with a 346 cid on my Mustang Chassis Dyno at 5200 rpm, with too mild of a camshaft. An F1R can easily either shoot your rwhp towards 900+rwhp or cause you to have to buy another block. Bob

I had Lt1 with F-1 Procharger on it pushing 16 pounds of boots on a 383 and on the dyno hit 765 rwhp. If that gives you an idea. If you are wanting to see 800 on pump gas hope you have a good tuner and low compression like 8 to one. Oh ya using 112 octane as fuel.

As for the 2000 ss that made 550 rwhp somethings wrong you could get that out of a stock engine with a p-1.

The F1R is pretty much an F1R. The impellers are different between the F2 and F1R. Cruising outlet temp is a non-issue and neither blowers run hot at cruise. All shipping F1-F2 standard rotation blower variants run a 5.40 ratio now. The only exception are the NMRA models to fit their archaic rules. That should change next year.
The F1C is there to provide race blower performance but not terribly overboost a near stock shortblock. Mod motor Ford to LS2. All I've seen are reverse mount. C=cutdown impeller and as mentioned is good for a streetcar.

Slowhawk needs to read more blower brochures and use more math/theories. No one wants real world data...come on now

TT_TY13 I hope you realize a couple of things as well, never did I question slowhawks abilitys or knowledge on anything. I know absolutely nothing about him as you know NOTHING about me, it was mearly an opinion (which everyone is entiltled to) And second one thing for sure I dont care what blower or car you have from supercharged turboed or nitrous Ive got something that will shut your mouth and thats not sarcasm or B.S. try me

I personally just received my F1C blower for my new 408 blower setup going in my GTO. Its going to take some banging/cutting to make it fit, but I think it will be a much more fun blower on the street than the R. But who knows! And sorry to say but I won't have numbers for atleast a month or two.
