Ditch the tips?

Ditch the tips?
I have a Z28 with the factory ground effects. I use a magnaflow exhaust but I'm not crazy about how it looks...i loved it on my non-RS car but with the body kit I just can't get it to look right.
I'm about to install a cutout & get the exhaust squared away...
I was thinking about getting rid of the tips and just using turndowns....
Thoughts?

I always thought tipless cars looked incomplete, plus you'll get more resonance. When I picked up my car it had cheapie chrome turndowns at the back, looked like hell. I found a pair of stainless quad oval tips and had them put on, changed the whole look of it.

if i had a camaro id ditch the tips, I think they look better with no tips. If i were you id ditch the catback and weld a muffler to the Y-pipe. I know a few people that have done it. It sounds good, but its kind of loud on a cammed car with a ORY. However it does take some weight off the car.
