Default what converter to go with??

my buddy is putting torquer 2(232-234 112lsa XER lobes) cam in his camaro this weekend, he needs a converter asap, i know a 4000 stall or so would most likely be perfect for this car considering the torque peak on this cam is around 4800 rpm, but its a stock tranny, and he wants it somewhat streetable. i was thinking like a 3600 stall??, what do you guys suggest, brand, and he is on a budget, so the price has to be reasonable. thanks guys.

I got a Vig 3200-3400 and I am looking at a torquer v2 rite now mine just came in. I talked with the people at Comp Cams and they said anything around the 3200-3600 stall should work ok. Vigalantes are "loose" when compared to other brands and I think this is going to be the ticket though a Vig in 3200-3400 range.

Go with the SS4000! If you go w/ the SS3600 you'll wish you got the 4000. I have all bolt ons and the SS3600 and I wish I would have gotten the SS4000. Driving the SS4000 around on the street won't be bad at all.

I just went from a TCI 3800 to a YANK ss4000.The TCI was great for a daily driver,Yank is a little more loose but absolutly badass at the track!!!Depends on how extreme of a setup he wants.
