Default Made 505 SAE at 10psi through the th400

Managed to put down 505 rwhp and 479 tq at 10 psi 91 octane. Thought that was pretty decent. The uncorrected hp was like 465. I'm running the car at the track tonight so we'll see what it does. Should be able to make 10 or so passes. Hopefully the track will be hooking and I'll be able to launch hard off the trans brake. I'm hoping the car traps in the high 120's. One of my goals for this car was to trap at least 130 on 91 octane.

If the track is really sticky i'll get to try a 4000 rpm 5psi launch

What is your raceweight?

I would think 130mph plus should be there with that dyno through a TH400

you have to look at the uncorrected numbers, thats the power the car is really making at thet elevation/temp. If the DA at the track was the same as the dyno you are looking at 465 rwhp.

465rwhp will get you ~124mph in a 3600lb raceweight car.
515rwhp will get you ~128mph @ 3600lbs.

After you run the car and correct your ET/mph to sea level then the corrected dynojet rwhp will be close.

nice numbers. were you only able to go up to 10psi on 91 or could you have gone higher? 10psi sounds low for having 8.7:1.

10psi is off the waste gate spring. I'm not sure what the weight on the car is, my guess would be around 3800 with me in it, it's a street car not a race car. It's only gonna get heavier too when i add stuff like a 6pt bar.

The DA last Saturday at 4:15 was 4400 ft, weather seems to be about the same but it will be a little better once the sun goes down tonight. Been waiting a long time to see your car on the track again Jeremy, I'll be there!
